From the Rector’s Desk
Let me begin by appreciating God Almighty for His love and protection over every one of us. I sincerely thank the Most Revd. Dr. Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba, Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), for appointing me as the new Rector of Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary, Abeokuta. My association with CGTS began with an invitation to serve as an Adjunct Lecturer during the tenure of His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Prof. Dapo Asaju, the foundation Rector of this great institution.
I continued my service under His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Prof. Andrew Olu Igenoza, and also served under Rev. Prof. Taiye Aluko. Little did I know that one day it would be my turn to occupy the office as Rector. I sincerely commend my predecessors at CGTS for the impactful work they accomplished during their tenure. I pray for their continued success wherever their calling may lead them. May God enable us to fulfill His mandate and bring CGTS to greater prominence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary, Abeokuta, Ogun State situated at Grammar School Bus Stop, CGTS Campus, Old Funaab Compound, beside St. John’s Anglican Church, Igbein, Abeokuta was established by the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) during the Primacy of His Grace, The Most Revd. Dr. Peter Jasper Akinola, CON, in further contribution to her pioneering ventures in formal and theological education in Nigeria. It is a learning and research centre for sound and orthodox Theology for Anglicans in particular and all Christians in general.
